Fall World Series - Game 2 Recap

With their 6-1 victory on Thursday night the Gold team wins the Fall World Series.  They defeated the Green team in extra innings on Wednesday night 3-2.  The next challenge for the Gold is can they complete the sweep, as the final game of the series will be Saturday.  First pitch is set for noon.

Notables:
WP - Kaleb Manuel
LP - Buck Bernard
SV - Matt Pittari

Manuel (Gold) threw five shutout innings
Pittari (Gold) allowed only one run over four innings pitched
Bernard (Green) allowed two unearned runs over five innings pitched.

Game 1 - Gold 3 Green 2 Gold lead series 1-0
Game 2 - Gold 6 Green 1  Gold wins the FWS 2-0
Game 3 - Saturday October 22 at Noon
