As the collegiate season has ended and the temps begin to rise a number of SLU Lions have found new homes for the summer. Our boys of summer are racking up some frequent flyer miles as they span all corners of the country to help refine their skills in collegiate wood bat summer leagues.
Playing in the Hampton's division of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League is Mat Cox and Chad Livingston who both play for the Westhampton Aviators in Westhampton, NY. Cody Gougler suits up for the Hays Larks in the Jayhawk Baseball League located in Kansas. Playing for the Martinsville Mustangs in Martinsville, VA are Justin Boudreaux and Joe Sparacino. Cass Hargis is playing for the Thomasville HiToms in Thomasville, NC. All three are playing in the Coastal Plains League. Playing for the Laramie Colts in Wyoming out of the Mountain Collegiate League is Alex Marse, Torin Lucas, and Steven Poche. Jeff Harkensee is playing in Calgary, Canada for the Okotok Dawgs of the Western Major Baseball League. Brock Hebert plays for the Texas Tomcats in Victoria, TX of the Texas Collegiate League.
