With the Fall Word Series knotted at two games apiece it was only fitting that the decisive 5th game would come down to the last at bat. And if the series wasn’t already exciting enough, it took 5 extra innings to get a winner.
After be down 2 games the Green team stormed back to win 3 in a row, including a 6-5 12 inning victory in the deciding game in which they were out hit 13-4.
With the win, the Green team will eat steaks at the annual baseball Christmas party. By suffering the loss the Gold team will paint themselves as they cheer on the Lions basketball team later in the season.
