As the holiday rush is fast approaching the Southeastern Louisiana baseball team is putting the brakes on the Fall semester. With Fall practice, workouts, and intra-squads behind them, the Lions are in their last week of the semester with final exams beginning next Monday.
After a break for the holidays, coach Jay Artigues will have his Lions report for Spring workouts on Sunday, January 17. At this time the players will begin conditioning and preseason workouts as they prepare for their quest of the Southland Conference Championship and a NCAA Regional berth. Opening day is Friday, February 19 at Alumni Field against Eastern Illinois, the defending Ohio Valley Conference champs.
