The SLU Lions departed from Hammond this morning heading to Huntsville, TX for their big Southland Conference series with league leader Sam Houston State. However, the guys weren't dressed in their usual green Adidas travel shirts and khaki pants. They boarded the bus like they were in an episode of the HBO hit series Entourage. The coaching staff joined in on theme as skipper Jay Artigues led the way looking pretty slick.
The Lions, who trail Sam Houston by three games with six games left, will look to gain some ground on the Bearkats in their weekend series. Several college baseball writers are calling it the series of weekend, as two of nation's top mid-majors clash with a possible at-large regional berth at hand. Game times for the weekend are Friday 6:30pm, Saturday 2pm, and Sunday 1pm.
