Our Lions rid the house of Bearkats with a 6-5 walk-off win over Sam Houston State, completing a three game sweep. The Lions are Roaring, baby!!
And on this special day, our baseball moms participated in the game day activities. Tina Gougler, Huntsville, TX was the Lion Trivia contestant. And yes, she chose the correct answer and was awarded a Lions vehicle flag. Way to go mom!
The 5th inning activity featured Cheri Martin, Wetumpka, AL and Cindy Hymel, Gramercy, LA twisting & turning in the Dizzy Bat Race. Both moms were winners as they reached the diamond girl without hitting the ground! Although, they did run on an angle!!
And finally, the 7th inning stretch was brought to us by Jamie Hargis, Hammond, LA as the guest announcer. With a little "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" serenade and bottom of the 7th hitter introduction, the fans were entertained and ready to cheer the Lions onto victory!
