NCAA Baseball Selection Show

It has been predicted all season long by baseball publications across the country that the Southland Conference would be a two bid league come Selection Monday when the NCAA selection committee announces its 64 team tournament field. With Lamar winning the conference tournament and securing the automatic bid that goes with it the question now is will another SLC team get an at-large bid?

Inside Lions Baseball breaks down the tournament resumes of SLU and Texas State as they would be the most likely teams of the SLC to receive an at-large berth from the NCAA selection committee.

Our only chance at getting a bid was to have Texas St. win the tournament. And that would have been a very slim chance as it is. When Lamar won our chances went out the door. If the Southland is a two bid league it will be Texas St. You can't finish like we did, 3rd in the conference and falling apart down the stretch and expect to get a bid.

I hope you don't think that we deserve a bid over Texas State. We did beat them but when you take a dump at the Tournament and get swept at home in your last series you don't deserve an at large bid. Give it up and lets look forward t next year

neither texas state and us are
going to the regionals both team
do not do anything to get in
next time when us are fighting
for slc championship or ncaa regional bid finish the job
