Senior catcher Jacob Fisher has been named to the 2012 Johnny Bench Award watch list, which is presented by BaseballSavings.com. Fisher, along with John Hale of Sam Houston State and Andrew Stumph of Texas State, represent the Southland Conference on the watch list.
The Johnny Bench Award was formed to be awarded annually to the nation's top collegiate catcher based on athletic ability, sportsmanship, team leadership and character.
