Lions Hold Steady in CBD Mid-Major Poll

After going 2-2 during the past week SLU remained ranked at number 24 in the weekly College Baseball Daily Mid-Major poll.  The Lions fell to Tulane 12-1 in mid-week action and to Central Michigan 7-6 on Friday.  The Lions bounced back with a 9-1 win over McNeese State and got revenge on the Chippewas with a 8-1 victory on Saturday.  In the win over Central Michigan SLU set the school record for stolen bases in a game with 10.

Southland Conference members Texas State (8-3) moved up to number 2 and Texas-Arlington (9-3), who has beaten Texas and Oklahoma on the road this season, received votes.
