The SLU Lions went on the road to Conway, AR and picked up a 6-5 win over Central Arkansas on Friday but ended up on the wrong side of the score on Saturday and Sunday. In game two on Saturday UCA won 5-4 on a walk off error in the bottom of the 12th inning. On Sunday the Bears won the rubber match beating the Lions 16-5 in seven innings.
On the season the Lions fall to 15-9 overall and 5-4 in the SLC. SLU currently sits in 6th place in the SLC standings, one game behind Lamar who visits "The Pat" this weekend.
