After finishing this past week with a 2-2 record the SLU Lions held steady in the National polls. In the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll the Lions fell from #22 to #29. In the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll SLU moved up a spot to #23 and they fell one spot in the NCBWA poll, as they sit at #23.
SLU fell to South Alabama in their midweek matchup 12-11 in Mobile, AL. Over the weekend the Lions won a crucial SLC series over Texas-Arlington at “The Pat”. After dropping Friday’s night game 7-6, they came back and won 11-5 and 6-0 on Saturday and Sunday.
