After finishing the past week with a 1-3 record, the SLU Lions fell out of all the major polls this week. The Lions did receive votes in the NCBWA and USA Today/ESPN Coaches polls.
The Lions fell to Tulane 6-0 on Tuesday night. Over the weekend SLC foe Texas A&M-Corpus Christi took two out of three from the Lions by winning game one 10-5 and game two 11-5. SLU salvaged the series by winning 11-3 on Sunday.
