Efferson Named SLU Student Athlete of the Week

Junior RHP Brandon Efferson has been named the Southeastern Male Student Athlete of the week for the week of March 15. 

Efferson, a native of Zachary, LA, earned his his fourth victory in as many appearances on the season, tossing a season-high 7.0 innings and allowing four hits in a 2-0 win over Southland Conference rival UTSA on Saturday.  He combined with Josh Janway, who pitched the final two innings for his fourth save, on his second career shutout and lowered his earned run average to 2.10 on the season.

Efferson is a Business Management major.
