HITTER OF THE WEEK: Sr RHP/3B Chris Franklin. Franklin hit in 3 of the 4 games this week going 5-8 and posting a .625 batting average. Over the UTSA series, he scored 5 times while driving in 5 runs helping the Lions to their 3rd series sweep of the season.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Jr RHP Brandon Efferson. Efferson started the Saturday game against UTSA throwing 7 innings and recording his 4th win on the year in the Lions 2-0 victory. He faced 27 batters, allowed only 4 hits, gave up 0 runs, and struckout 2 Roadrunner hitters.
