Hargis Named SLU Student Athlete of the Week

Junior OF Cass Hargis has been named the Southeastern Male Student Athlete of the week for the week of March 29.

Hargis, a Meraux, LA native, helped Southeastern to a 4-1 week, including come-from-behind wins over South Alabama and Central Arkansas … nearly hit for the cycle in Friday’s 9-3 win with a single, double and triple … drove in four runs and swiped a pair of bases in the 9-3 win … hit safely in all five games during the week … went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles in Sunday’s finale.

Hargis is a General Studies major.
