Boudreaux Named to Brooks Wallace Award Watch List

Sophomore SS Justin Boudreaux has been named to the Brooks Wallace Award Watch List, the College Baseball Foundation recently announced. The Wallace Award, sponsored by Mizuno, recognizes the nation’s top shortstop. The winner will be announced on July 2 at the College Baseball Awards Show in Lubbock, TX.

Boudreaux, who hails from Prairieville, LA, is currently hitting .370 with 6 HRS, 24 RBI, 24 Runs Scored, and a .469 OBP. Defensively, Boudreaux has committed only 3 errors in 90 chances.  In Sunday's game 1 of the doubleheader with McNeese State he hit a HR in his first three at-bats going 3-5 with 6 RBI.
