Franklin named SLC Honorable Mention Pitcher of the Week

RHP Chris Franklin was named to the Southland Conference Honorable Mention list of Pitchers of the Week on Monday, March 29, 2010.

Franklin's numbers for the week are as follows:
4.2 innings pitched; allowed only 2 hits and one run scored; while recording 9 strikeouts

To receive honorable mention, a player must receive votes from 25 percent of the Southland baseball sports information contacts.
Each school's SID nominates and votes for the players of the week, though is not permitted to vote for his or her own player.
