The Southeastern Lions moved up three spots in this weeks Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll and now sit at #26 in the national rankings. The Lions finished the week 4-1 and won their 3rd straight weekend series.
The Lions beat Jackson State on Tuesday night 18-2. On Wednesday night SLU won their 4th straight game over in-state rival ULL 11-4. Over the weekend the Lions beat Texas Southern 14-8 and 4-1 to run their record to 11-0, setting the school record for most consecutive wins. In the series finale Texas Southern handed the Lions their first loss of the season winning 6-1 in 12 innings.
