After going 4-1 on the week the SLU Lions have made some movement in the national polls this week.
This past week the Lions had mid-week victories over Jacskon State on the road and South Alabama at home. Over the weekend SLU won their 6th consecutive weekend series (3rd straight SLC series) by winning 2 out of 3 from Central Arkansas at “The Pat”.
In the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll the Lions actually fell one spot to number 22. In the NCBWA poll the Lions jumped from number 27 to number 21. In the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll SLU jumped two spots from number 25 to number 23.
